Director of Patient Services

RES Home Care is a licensed home care agency seeking a Director of Patient Services. This individual is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating healthcare and professional services of the Licensed Home Care Service Agency. This position oversees the day-to-day clinical operation of home care in conformance with the organization’s mission, philosophy, and goals. The Director of Patient Services ensures the services he/she is responsible for are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner maximizing customer satisfaction. Ensures that all aspects of home care/programs operate within the standards of all applicable laws, rules and regulations.

Please apply ONLY if you have the following qualifications:

• NYS Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Two (2) to four (4) years experience in a patient care setting, acute care desirable.
• Two (2) to three (3) years experience in a supervisory or administrative position in a home care organization OR an equivalent and demonstrates a strong knowledge of Regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. -
• Ability to speak effectively before groups or customers or employees of the agency.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, customers and the general public.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
