    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
    • Integrate cybersecurity best practices into the development process, ensuring the security of web applications.
    • Work within an Agile development environment to deliver iterative and incremental software solutions.
    • Maintain and enhance existing web applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
    • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces.
    • Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.
    • Stay informed about cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Web Developer with expertise in PHP, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
    • Strong understanding of Linux server environments and experience with server-side scripting.
    • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Preferred Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure services.
    • Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
    • Knowledge of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework.
