Job Summary:
This position will be involved with all aspects of programming focus in analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining programs in a Microsoft Visual Studios environment which will supplement the ERP systems, manufacturing, warehouse/shipping, engineering and management.
Essential Functions:
- Provide support for user technical issues and assist with training
- Maintain existing in-house software sing Visual Studio
- Design and develop new in-house software using Visual Studio or C#
- Ticket creation, escalation and resolution
- Oversee daily IT operations including monitoring, backup, recovery of local server systems and networks
- Research technologies and develop plans for improvement projects
- Develop and maintain documentation of systems
- Ascertain IT department skills and develop a plan to cross-train members as needed
- Train users and answer questions
- Prepare customized IT reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Degree in programming or related field desired
- 5 years of programming experience
- SQL usage and management experience
- Windows Hyper-V experience
- Windows Server 2019 experience
- Hands on experience installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
