Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will create and modify CNC programs to produce precision parts according to specifications. Your expertise in programming and operating CNC machines will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
Duties:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness and safety
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications, including geometric dimensions and tolerances on prints
- Perform programming CNC machines using Master Cam software
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
- Maintain documentation of programming changes, tooling requirements, and machine settings
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages used in CNC machining
- Strong tooling knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their proper usage
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
