About us - Digifabshop is an agile, digital fabricator specializing in custom architectural interiors, building components, and fine art fabrication. Our work spans retail, hospitality, commercial, architectural features, and large-scale artwork.

We're looking for a CNC Programmer to join our rapidly expanding team.

About the position - The CNC Programmer at Digifabshop is responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product, ensuring all products meet client specifications. This position will also help build internal documentation resources for materials and programming requirements.  

This position is ideal for someone who has recently graduated from a degree program or has a technical certification in the use of computers and other advanced manufacturing technology.

Hours: (full-time) M-Th, 8 am – 5 pm | Fr, 8 am – 2:30 pm

Location: This position is located in Albany, NY – onsite work is required

Required Skills & Experience: 

• High school diploma or GED, Associate’s degree or technical certification using advanced manufacturing technology.
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
• Understands the visual-spatial translation of 2D drawings to 3D objects as it relates to Digifabshop project work.
• AutoCAD and Rhino software experience.
• A keen eye for detail, and the ability to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
• Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines.
• Proficient in use of electronic communication such as email, chat, and cloud-based collaborative platforms.

Work Environment:

• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with occasional duties required in production areas. Employees are provided and required to wear appropriate P.P.E. 

Pay Range: $20-$30/hr. Individual compensation is based on various factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
