    How You’ll Make an Impact

    We need a quick learner who can become a subject matter expert in our operations environment. The Facility Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the distribution of bulk automotive lubricants, packaged, and ancillary goods to meet customer requirements in the Direct Market network. Coordinates and oversees the repairing and maintenance of all equipment, vehicles and structural assets associated the facility and property. Responsible for assisting the Site Manager with EH&S, financial accounting and budgetary spend, and facility level HR and employee welfare matters.In the role, you would be responsible for:

    • Supervises all safety and housekeeping goals. Communicating to ensure compliance with all policy, procedures and regulations including Valvoline, OSHA, EPA, DOT and ISO are being followed and maintaining appropriate.
    • Provides employee coaching/training to all employees. Identify and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.  Manage personnel/staff in all daily activities and manage vacations/time off to ensure production can be completed.
    • Ensure all daily and weekly delivery schedules goals are completed. Define, prepare, and analyze inventory and delivery reports and trends.
    • Communicate with other Plants, Direct Markets and Transportation vendors to resolve delivery delays and damage concerns.
    • Investigate and resolve IT issues concerning warehouse scanners, driver ELD/Bizspeed handhelds, computers and packing stations.
    • Manage the vehicle fleet to include Preventive/Regular Maintenance, licensing, Toll requirements are complete and up to date with local and DOT Requirements. 
    • Supervises site activities to ensure delivery schedules are met or exceeded while effectively and efficiently utilizing available manpower/staffing.  Ensure warehouse daily and weekly shipping and receiving schedules are met.

    What You’ll Need

    • High School Diploma or equivalent 
    • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logsitics, or preferably in a Pick and Pack Operation
    • Good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management and hourly employees
    • Must be able to develop, coach, council employees and resolve concerns
    • Must be detailed oriented and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven leadership experience
    • Able to lift up to 20 lbs. Able to sit and stand for long periods at a time. Able to walk safely through the warehouse
    • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft office software, SAP
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
