Architect will be responsible for designing custom built applications & identifying design patterns with emphasis on user experience, reusability, scalability, performance, availability, and security. Candidate must have strong foundation in software design and development, frameworks, design patterns, software architecture, object-oriented programming, and mentoring.

YOUR ROLE

Develops corporate-level advantages and synergies across IT systems landscape in a hands-on approach, by merging best practices from software architecture, enterprise architecture, IT strategy consulting and technology management. **Position Location is OPEN

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides technical expertise in the design of new software or significant enhancements to existing software
• Acts as a strategic thinker, thought leader, internal consultant, mentor, and change agent for application development teams
• Provides technical guidance and mentoring to application development teams throughout all the phases of the SDLC
• Work closely with Team leads to balance rapid delivery of business solutions with sound technical solutions
• Assists with the technical evaluation of the delivered solutions.
• Maintains and evolves software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies
• Participates in the development of software architecture documentation.
• Moderates and documents technical decision processes of corporate scope organizes and conducts architecture reviews
• Defines & enforces standards and best practices that are consistent with enterprise architecture standards, corporate standards and goals
• Designs core application frameworks for complex project that can be reused across the organization
• Responsible for undertaking complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge in software development and provides expertise at top technical levels in particular business processes
• Manages technology advancement of application dependent platforms, tools, and services
• Recommends application modernization opportunities and application lifecycle management efficiencies
• Assists with critical application production issues and challenging issues in any phase of the development lifecycle
• Leads and participates in the development of software architecture documentation
• Drives innovation and creative solutions to technical challenges on an ongoing basis
• Reviews and provides recommendations on new tools/technologies
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and the ability to communicate with audiences at varying technical levels

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 8 years’ experience
• JavaEE Framework development and design experience
• Experience in different Architectural Styles like MVC Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture. Microservices Architecture, Event Driven Architecture is a plus
• Experience and in-depth knowledge with ORM or persistence frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA & experience with Oracle or Postgres database
• Experience with REST Web Services
• Experience in designing solutions with messaging frameworks like Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Experience designing solutions with enterprise systems including: Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS), Business Process Management System (BPMS), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
• Experience with JavaEE Application Server (TomEE, Web Logic, WebSphere, Wildfly)
• Expertise in upgrading legacy Web applications
• Architecting and designing frameworks to be used by applications
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed
