We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect to join our team. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various architectural projects. Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs and plans for new construction projects, renovations, and additions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD software such as ArchiCAD, Sketchup, and Rhinoceros 3D
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design development
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects
- Provide guidance and support to junior architects and interns
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations
- Assist with business development activities such as preparing proposals and participating in client meetings
Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as ArchiCAD, Sketchup, and Rhinoceros 3D
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and practices
- Experience with construction estimating and budgeting
- Familiarity with project management tools such as NavisWorks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
