    Overview of position:

    FEDITC is seeking a Journeyman Network Administrator to work at Fort Bragg, NC. A United States Citizenship and an active TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
    • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
    • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
    • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
    • Typical duties include:
      • Assessing business and applications requirements for systems
      • Planning, designing and upgrading systems installation projects
      • Establishing and maintaining backup, version-control and viral defense systems
      • Troubleshooting network architecture and making recommendations for system fixes and enhancements
      • Making recommendations for leveraging systems installations and reducing operational costs 

    Qualifications


    Experience/Skills:

    • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
    • Individuals pursuing this position need an extensive background in all aspects of systems technology.
    • They must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
    • Experience in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems. 

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field

     

    Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
    • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
    • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
