The Enterprise Application Specialist is responsible for the governance on how Kwik Trip’s corporate date moves, is used, and is secured to enable the growth of Kwik Trip in its primary objective of serving our customers, co-workers, and suppliers.

Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set standards and policy on how corporate data is used
• Work with IT security to ensure current standards and policies are in line with protecting Kwik Trip corporate data
• Create a Technical Rode Map using established and emerging data technologies to leverage data in support of current and future business initiatives
• Continually update the data flow diagrams of all systems to ensure accuracy when an application is added, modified, or harvested
• Work with the Scrum Master and Product Owners to ensure business requirements, goals, timeline, and resources are meeting standards within the project’s success
• Provide feedback on potential issues or resources that could be required for new application integration with Kwik Trip’s IT Leadership team

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of one or more of the following program languages: SQL, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, CSS, C or .NET
• Knowledge of multiple databases, data modeling, design best practices, and database administration
• Working experience using SQL
• Knowledge of Project Management concepts and terminology
• Working experience utilizing best-practice for file transfer processes (FTP, SFTP, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, Stored-procedures)
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to present and explain technical information to diverse types of audiences (management, users, vendors, technical staff) in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
• Ability to perform at a high level within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Skills in interviewing customers for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and usability issues
• Prioritize requirements, schedule tasks, and communicate progress
• Ability to mentor non-technical users
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Have the passion to motivate others
• Strong desire to establish and meet aggressive deadlines

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or as needed to perform duties.
