Job Purpose:
The Software QA & Governance Department under Digital Services Development division (DSD) of American Honda Motors (AHM) is responsible for operations and quality management of digital services and software products, including Connected Apps and Backoffice. The department also provides Customer Relationship (CR)/Call Center support and training, release approval, architecture, cybersecurity, and Divisional PMO/Admin services.
The department is seeking for highly motivated and experienced Solution Architect with comprehensive expertise in application, mobile, security, quality, and telematics ecosystems. The architect is responsible for thought-leadership for innovation toward the next evolution of Digital Services Development (DSD) technology products that will help us reach our future-focused goals. The architect will be responsible for the design and support of the mobile and security at DSD. Alignment to Honda global and regional security policy, regional architecture standards, application risk and governance compliance will be keys to the success of this role.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop and promote Digital Services Development Strategy, solution architecture, methodologies, and standards
Work together with development teams and various internal and external architects, team lead to develop and deliver long-term strategic goal for Digital Services Development architecture
Support architecture, security, application development, integrations of all current and future DSD products
Support solutions and governance for Digital Services Development
Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, information systems, or computer engineering
Minimum Experience:
10 years of progressive experience in mobile and security architecture
5 years of project and support experience in the automotive area
5 years of automotive customer and / or dealer support experience.
5 years of business consulting experience.
5 years strong analyst experience
2-3 years of Automotive, Telematics/Connected Vehicle or Consumer Electronics/IoT experience desired
