Claims Quality Auditor audits claims for coding accuracy, benefit payment, contract interpretation, and compliance with policies and procedures. Selects claims through random processes and/or other criteria. Being a Claims Quality Auditor makes recommendations to improve quality, workflow processes, policies and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Claims Quality Auditor typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. The Claims Quality Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Role and Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Registration Manager, is responsible for professional securities examination and analysis related to but not limited to the following:
· Reviews and processes new notice filings (mutual funds).
· Analyzes notice filings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the West Virginia Securities Code.
· Ensures all required fees are received in a timely manner.
· Performs review of existing filings to ensure compliance.
· Manages filing information and ensures appropriate database is always current.
· Responds to inquiries and assists filers with any questions regarding filing requirements.
· May assist in processing other types of registration filings.
· Will assist in processing weekly deposits.
· Participates in compliance examinations for investment advisers.
· May work with enforcement department to resolve any noncompliance issues.
· Assists with special projects as needed.
· Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Baccalaureate degree, or higher in business related field.

· Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships in a team environment.
· Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
