POSITION: DATA PROCESSING / PAYROLL TECHNICIAN

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Eight hours per day.
DAYS: Twelve month employment.
SALARY SCHEDULE: Rate of pay will be: $18.01 per hour
START DATE: August 1, 2023
JOB SUMMARY: This is an administrative support position with the principal function to provide administrative support services within the payroll and data processing department. Must have the ability to work in a team environment and be able to problem solve and suggest improvements to payroll problems. Applicant must have experience and be proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications and will be tested in the use Excel and Basic Office. Payroll experience, Adobe Acrobat experience and familiarity with the Skyward software platform are a plus. Must have the ability to keep confidential payroll and employee records This position requires the ability to schedule weekly, monthly and yearly tasks. Must be able to work 12 months and schedule time off around critical payroll dates.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED equivalency is required. Experience in performing bookkeeping and/or office administrative duties. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
