Busy paralegal firm is in need of a professional and efficient records acquisitions assistant, six-eight hours a day, Monday through Friday. Daily start and end time to be determined by qualified applicant. (Business hours are 8am to 5pm).
Applicants must have an acute attention to detail, strong organizational skills, flexible with policy changes as needed, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively over the phone, self directed in managing workflow but also able to respond well to instruction.
This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, basic computer skills and other common office technology. Training provided and ongoing as needed.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
●Scanning, processing and posting incoming documents to electronic files
●Entering Client information and Case Details
●Calling on Insurance to verify coverage
●Ordering Police Reports
●Attending regularly scheduled department and company meetings
- Monthly Bonuses after aprx 120 days . Our monthly bonuses over the past six months have ranged from approximately $300 to approximately more than $800. Bonuses are based on overall company performance, not individual.
- Base pay starts at $16-18/hour (with bonuses can range from $18.87 to $25.25), possible raise after 90 days and annual raises to follow; annual raises are based on individuals’ progress over the course of the year, not strictly length of tenure.
