Claims Processing Clerk jobs in Utah

LWP Claims Solutions is looking for a bright, motivated person to assist in financial operations in our Sacramento office. The position is in is small office environment providing support for our California operations. The successful applicant will be detail oriented and able to work unassisted and bring assigned projects to conclusion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurate basic data entry of bills for payment

• Research unpaid bills as required by providers

• Assist with management of client bank accounts including funding and reconciliation.

• Communicate with staff and clients to create a collaborative environment for problem resolution

• Ability to work independently in small, quiet office environment

• Provide support for back office functions

• Ability to work with team and move from task to task as determined by daily workloads to ensure all back office support is performed in an accurate and timely manner

• Keep work area clean, secure and well maintained

• Promote and maintain a positive work environment.

EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION:

High School Diploma, some higher education preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Office experience preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Working knowledge of Quicken, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Demonstrated problem solving skills.

• Effective verbal & written communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Strong organization skills.

• Good math skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks under high pressure with little supervision.

• Ability to operate computer, calculator, printer, copier, facsimile machine and other general office equipment.

• Alphanumeric data-entry: 6,000-8,000 ksph (intermediate)

• Typing: 50 wpm

Pay Rate:

$14 – $16 per hour DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
