Claims Examiner, Sr. reviews, evaluates, and processes insurance claims and makes recommendations for resolution. Examines and authorizes insurance claims investigated by insurance adjusters. Being a Claims Examiner, Sr. studies reports prepared by adjusters and similar claims to determine the extent of insurance coverage and validity of the claim. Communicates with agents, claimants, and policy holders. Additionally, Claims Examiner, Sr. determines settlement according to organization practices and procedures. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Claims Examiner, Sr. occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking a candidate to work with our Tax Group. As a Seasonal Preparer/Reviewer, you will join our team of talented tax professionals who assist clients with the preparation and review of tax returns. Client types that you will have the opportunity to assist include C Corporations, S corporations, partnerships, individuals, and nonprofits out of our Wheeling, WV office. This position is seasonal beginning in January 2024 and concluding in April 2024.
This position has the opportunity to be onsite, fully remote or hybrid, depending on qualifications and experience. Only qualified candidates from West Virginia, Ohio, or Pennsylvania will be considered for this position.
Minimum hours required is 20 per week. Maximum hours will be 40.
