Claims Analyst analyzes and reviews insurance claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility. Reviews claims for eligibility to be reimbursed. Being a Claims Analyst maintains updated records and prepares required documentation. Assists in controlling the cost of processing claims. Additionally, Claims Analyst contacts policyholders about claims and may provide information regarding the amount of benefits. May require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Claims Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the safety and risk management program for WSI Supply Chain.

    The Claims Adjuster position is located in Olive Branch, MS.

    You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will….

    · Perform data entry, data analysis and create weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management teams across the supply chain

    · Provide Safety Management Information System (SMIS) training and access

    · Evaluate work-related accidents or injuries by coordinating comprehensive investigations to ensure accurate information is obtained and documented

    · Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timelines of collected data

    · Conduct root cause analysis to understand the underlying factors contributing to safety incidents

    · Conduct and/or coordinate risk assessments, collects and analyzes data, and provide recommendations to mitigate organizational risks, increase safety, and improve training and compliance

    · Coordinates and distributes the online operations managers’ quarterly training program using current vendors

    · Prepare and present comprehensive reports summarizing safety data analysis findings

    · Develop executive summaries of findings and communicate insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders

    · Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines

    · Maintain and update safety database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility

    · Implement data quality control measures to minimize errors in reporting

    · Collaborates with HR Business Partners, Loss Prevention, Operations, and other relevant departments

    · Identify opportunities for process improvement in safety data collection, analysis, and reporting

    · Maintain OSHA Logs, OSHA postings, and BLS Reporting

    · Facilitate Regional weekly Accident Review Committee Calls

    · Keep abreast of changes in Federal, State, and local safety regulations

    · Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

    · Bachelor’s degree in Management, Risk, Safety, Insurance, Business, or related discipline or equivalent experience

    · At least 3 years’ experience in risk or compliance, and/or safety analysis within a distribution, manufacturing, or related field

    · In-depth knowledge in the use of Excel and PowerPoint

    · Ability to learn new tasks and concepts, gather information and data

    We prefer some of these qualities as well….

    · 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred

    · Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training desired
