The role of a Civil Engineer is to work independently and as a team member on a wide range of projects under the guidance of a Senior Engineer/Project Manager.
A Civil Engineer will perform a variety of tasks which may include design, analysis, calculations, preparation of exhibits, and construction documents. The projects that a Civil Engineer may be assigned to may be broad, varied, and diverse in scope. A Civil Engineer must have the experience or the understanding and aptitude to learn this role.
This is an office-based position out of our Portland, OR location.

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering or a related degree.
Minimum of 5 years related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education & related experience.
Local project resume and experience with site develop projects and / or public works projects including rough and precise grading design, roadway design, parking lot design, storm water management / water quality, sewer and water design strongly preferred.
Professional Engineering licensed preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
