XMotive Dance Studio, a vibrant and dynamic dance community, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Majorette Choreographer to lead our newly forming Majorette dance team. As a key member of our artistic team, you will choreograph routines, inspire dancers, and bring show-stopping performances to life at a variety of events and parades.
Job Description: As the Majorette Choreographer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, teaching, and refining dance routines that capture the energy and precision of Majorette dance
- Recruiting and auditioning dancers to form a cohesive and talented team.
- Leading rigorous practice sessions while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Preparing the team for performances at local events, parades, and potentially competitions.-
Selecting appropriate costumes and music that complement the routines and adhere to performance guidelines.
- Collaborating with XMotive Dance Studio staff to promote the Majorette team and increase sign-ups.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all team members during practices and performances.
- Providing feedback and constructive criticism to help dancers improve their skills.- Organizing and managing team logistics, including practice schedules, event participation, and travel arrangements if necessary.
Compensation: Payment for the Majorette Choreographer position will be performance
-based, with earnings directly proportional to the number of team members signed up under your leadership. Further details on the compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
