We are seeking a passionate part-time Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dance instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. If you have a love for dance and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others, we would love to hear from you.
We’re specifically looking for people with a background in one or more of these dance styles:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging dance lesson plans
- Provide individualized instruction to students based on their skill level and goals
- Demonstrate dance moves and techniques for students to emulate
- Correct students' posture, technique, and form
- Choreograph routines for performances or competitions
- Organize and lead dance rehearsals
- Collaborate with other instructors to create cohesive dance programs
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of dance in at least 1 style and technique
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
- Patience and the ability to work well with students of different skill levels
