Evaluates patients' condition based on their symptoms and medical history. Being a Chiropractor examines spine and posture, conducts tests or takes X rays. Provides neuromusculoskeletal therapy. Additionally, Chiropractor requires a doctorate degree in chiropractic (DC). Must pass either National Board tests or state examinations to obtain a license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Chiropractor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     Responsibilities:

    • Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; and reviewing x-rays, as indicated.
    • Evaluate patients’ neuro-musculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuro-musculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
    • Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system, where necessary.
    • Educate patients on the quality of life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended course of treatment.
    • Maintain accurate case histories of patients.
    • Obtain and record patients' medical histories, as indicated.
    • Arrange for diagnostic x-rays to be taken, when medically necessary.
    • Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patients' difficulties and to rule out fractures or diseases as sources of problems.
    • Patient chiropractic care and education

    Qualifications needed:

    • A Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
    • An active Doctor of Chiropractic License to practice in the state of Texas
    • At least 1 year experience in sales, manual adjusting, and patient education

    Passing scores for Parts I, II, III, and IV from NCBE

    • A recent NBCE SPEC exam is an acceptable alternative for Part IV
    • Valid TBCE DC license
    • Fully eligible for Malpractice Insurance in Texas

    Business Structure

    The Joint is a franchise with Independent business owners per location, who set their own terms of employment, including wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees. Our franchise group owns and operates 30 clinics in certain states: In Oklahoma, South Florida, and Texas. Our clinic locations are managed by a Chiropractor of 10 years, who started with The Joint in the same position you are applying for, and provides mentor and support to the District Management team in the field, and Doctors on the front lines. We are here to support you with everything you need to succeed and feel valued, including a competitive salary and rewards from the outset.
