Childbirth Educator provides instruction and education to patients planning to give birth. Presents curriculum in a group setting. Being a Childbirth Educator reviews class material and recommends changes based on educational standards. May assist in developing new content. Additionally, Childbirth Educator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Childbirth Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. We are also offering positions for assistant teachers and part-time cooks. We are looking for team members who are consistent in attendance and in executing job responsibilities.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years if age or older and have a High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Must be able to pass a background check
    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
    • Lead teachers must have some experience teaching children in a professional, volunteer or faith-based setting. (If you don't have this experience, let us help you get it!)

    All child care employees are required to pass a background check, have a negative TB test and other requirements. Lead Teachers must pass a health assessment, become Pediatric CPR certified, and pass other requirements. Training and certification time and costs are covered by Bright Beginnings.

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

    Pay: From $10.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week

    • CPR Certification (Preferred)
