Being a Childbirth Educator reviews class material and recommends changes based on educational standards. May assist in developing new content. Additionally, Childbirth Educator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Childbirth Educator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. All child care employees are required to pass a background check, have a negative TB test and other requirements. Lead Teachers must pass a health assessment, become Pediatric CPR certified, and pass other requirements. Training and certification time and costs are covered by Bright Beginnings.
