Qualifications: College graduate and/or evidence of having passed the ParaPro assessment required. Previous experience and Connecticut teaching certificate preferred. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to; work in multiple educational settings, be flexible, maintain confidentiality, and show passion and enthusiasm for their assignment.
Responsibilities: Provide instructional and behavioral support in classroom setting under the direct supervision of a certified special education case manager, may also include 1:1 support for a student
Terms of Employment: Work week: Monday - Friday, 32.5 hours per week; hourly wage and benefits in accordance with the Agreement Between the Avon Board of Education and CSEA, SEIU Local 2001.
