We are seeking qualified applicants with a minimum of 3 years NICU experience to provide on call coverage from home for newborns delivered in our community based low risk childbirth center delivery service. Responsibilities include routine newborn care, daily evaluation and management of newborn inpatients as well as the ability to respond to urgent delivery situations including the ability to independently perform newborn resuscitation and stabilization for transport to a local NICU referral center. Applicants must have NRP certification.
Griffin Hospital is located in Derby, Connecticut and applicants should reside within a thirty-minute response time radius.
Our team consists of 10 APPs supervised by the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics. We also have NRP certified CRNA’s and respiratory therapists and we work collaboratively alongside an extraordinary group of experienced nurses with unique skills.
