Work Experience
Prior experience in planning and executing daily activities and long term care plans. Have had experience working and communicating with dementia, Alzheimer’s, handicapped patients and worked with a geriatric population. Supervisory experience a must.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with residents, staff, customers on a one-on-one basis or in a group setting. Must be able to speak, read and write using Basic English skills.
Physical Demands
Physical work may include lifting up to 50 lbs., stooping, pulling, carrying, twisting, bending, walking, pushing and standing to perform all aspects of the job on a day-to-day basis.
Additional Information
Must be able to work in a team player environment, multi-task, detailed orientated person, organized and follow through skills. Must have a high level of communication skills to interact with residents, families and staff.
