Child Life Program Director manages and directs pediatric programs, therapies, and activities among young patients. Evaluates programs and recommends changes to improve care for childhood hospitalizations or disabilities. Being a Child Life Program Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Child Life Program Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Job Summary:
We are seeking a floater to join our team at First Baptist Child Development Center. As a floater you would be responsible for helping teachers, giving breaks, lunches, bathroom breaks, etc. You could also spend time in the children's classrooms on occasion when a teacher was absent. This would not happen though before you were well trained by a staff member. A floater is mainly at the facility to give aid to anyone who needs it but its a great opportunity to learn about pre-school age if you are interested in making a career with children.Hours would be set according to availability. Being in a childcare setting also gives a person the opportunity to move up and become a teacher in a classroom in the future and be a valuable member of our team.
There is no experience or a degree needed to be a floater but you would need to take some online trainings once you are employed. We are a 5 star licensed facility and it is required by the state to have health and safety trainings when working with children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.00 - $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
