Oversees enrollment activities, communications, and events that foster positive relations with families and the community. Additionally, Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) ensures that the activities and surroundings meet the needs of children and provide safety and security. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent. Depending on the location, may require a state specific director certification or a more general certification such as the Child Development Associate (CDA). Typically requires Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Typically reports to senior management. The Child Care Center Director (Hosp. Op.) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.   • Overview:
    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare leader to join our team. As a Childcare director, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care. Your role will involve supervising activities, assisting with educational tasks, and ensuring the well-being of each child.

    Duties:
    - Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
    - Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate children
    - Create a structured daily schedule that includes playtime, learning activities, and rest periods
    - Assist children with personal hygiene tasks such as diapering, toileting, and handwashing
    - Serve meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines and any specific instructions from parents
    - Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
    - Ensure a clean and organized environment by sanitizing toys, equipment, and play areas regularly
    - Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for children

    Skills:
    - Education background: Experience in education administration or higher education teaching is preferred
    - Experience working with children: Previous experience working with students or in a childcare setting is highly desirable
    - Patience and empathy: Ability to understand and respond to the needs of each child individually
    - Strong communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
    - Organizational skills: Ability to plan activities, manage time effectively, and maintain a structured environment

    Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated accordingly.
