Being a Chief of Surgery requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. Additionally, Chief of Surgery require extensive clinical experience. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. Vermont Eye Surgery & Laser Center is an ophthalmology specific Ambulatory Surgery Center that specializes in cataract, corneal, oculoplastic and glaucoma surgeries. We are seeking 1 flexible RN who is highly motivated to orient to Pre-op, PACU, and the Operating Room. Our work day is fast paced, team-oriented, fun and patient centered. We work Monday - Thursday with an occasional Friday. On-site parking, 6 paid holidays a year, no call, no nights and no weekends.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Current unrestricted Vermont RN License required. BLS & ACLS preferred. One year of Medical/Surgical or Perioperative experience. Knowledge of regulatory/CMS standards.
