QUALIFICATIONS

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Outstanding clinician with an impeccable reputation and successful track record of high-quality clinical outcomes
• National reputation as a physician in Plastic Surgery
• Possess scholarly accomplishments to qualify at the rank of Associate or Professor at City of Hope
• Previous leadership experience and/or progressive administrative/management experience in an academic medical center setting, NCI and/or national academy/society, preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent and innovative patient care
• Demonstrated ability leading highly-trained physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to set and meet strategic goals
• Solid clinical or translational research background, preferred
• High levels of integrity and honesty
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Mission focused, collaborative, adaptable, flexible to change and ability to lead teams through change
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including relationship-building, communication, listening, and negotiation diplomacy

EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• M.D. OR D.O. from an accredited educational institution and boarded in respective specialty
• Fellowship trained and boarded in plastic surgery (or the equivalent), preferred
• Required, board certified by the American Board of Surgery
• Possession of, or eligibility for, unrestricted medical license in the State of California

This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 400 member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California, within our highly respected Department of Surgery and Division of Breast Surgery. City of Hope is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.

Compensation: $300,000-$600,000. The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors."
