GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Are you ready to lead a team dedicated to the nuanced care of youth in a critical assessment phase of their lives? As the Chief Psychologist of our Juvenile Crisis & Assessment Centers, you'll be at the helm of clinical oversight, ensuring the highest standards of psychological assessment and ethical practice. Your impact will be felt directly, shaping the lives and futures of those in our care. This position will oversee our clinical services across four juvenile crisis and assessment centers, as well as provide some consultation and support to other divisions across the agency, including therapeutic foster care, dual diagnosis youth programming, in-home services, and early childhood consultation.
This position involves monthly travel throughout our service areas, to include Asheville, Winston-Salem, Butner, Raleigh, and Kinston.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Position reports to: Senior Director of Juvenile Services
Position supervises: Clinical staff including Psychologists, Contract Psychologists, and Clinical Case Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge: Doctoral degree in clinical or forensic psychology, with a license to practice in North Carolina.
Experience: Two or more years of direct service provision, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating clients. Supervisory and management experience preferred.
