Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant. As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate cost allocation, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Develop and maintain cost standards for products and services.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for management review.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to optimize cost structures and pricing strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Participate in inventory management activities, including valuation and reconciliation.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and fixed assets.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation
• Familiarity with ERP systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Cost accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
