Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Job Description:
We're looking for a mobile diesel technician to join our growing team! Ideal candidate is a self-starter with the ability to work independently. Daily activities will include traveling to different job sites and servicing various types of medium to heavy duty vehicles. Services will include but aren't limited to scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT Inspections, and follow-up repairs, Candidate will also need to accurately log daily activity including inventory tracking.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2 years experience with diesel or heavy duty vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL preferred but not required
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic computer skills required for data entry into maintenance systems.
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions
- Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
