Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Chief Pilot (Non-Jet Fleet) works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Our Chief Pilot must be based within the Phoenix metropolitan area. For those needing to relocate, we will include up to $5,000 in moving expenses. Our Chief Pilot will be expected to fill rotation gaps as necessary. We offer a predictable 12 on, 20 off schedule. The salary range is $245,00 to $280,00, DOE, and includes an industry leading medical benefits package covering 100% of the premium (including vision and dental).
