You may be the ideal Chief Pilot for this position if you enjoy the nuances of private aviation, easily handle variety in your work, thrive in fast-paced environments, and manage rapid changes in schedules and priorities well. Keen on building a trustworthy and tight-knit relationship with the flight crew, you strive to create exceptional experiences for both your passengers and crew at all times. You are also, therefore, capable of and comfortable with providing friendly, optimistic service outside the cockpit, while using data and analytics to maximize flight efficiency and performance inside the cockpit.

If you are the ideal Chief Pilot, you would also be described as a “pilot’s pilot”, one with significant real-world experience that has helped you build empathy for your team and remove barriers to getting better. Able to continuously hold your personal ego in check, you have an uncommon level of mental maturity, want to be an accessible mentor, are willing to share your time and expertise, and you’re committed to helping others develop and hone their skill sets. You are highly knowledgeable (but not all-knowing), demonstrating the curiosity and openness to explore new ideas and concepts brought to you by your team and peers, and proactively staying out ahead of technology and trends.

As the ideal Chief Pilot, you have outstanding communication skills and keep everyone in the “information loop”. You are also open to inquiries, suggestions, and resolutions from all members of the aviation team. As an integral part of the Leadership Team, you are also a collaborative player, appreciating and understanding all functional areas of the company: maintenance, scheduling, flight operations, and business management. You also consistently strive to understand and rationally apply the company’s mission, vision, and key objectives in all decision-making.

We have a floating fleet, so the perfect candidate is comfortable with the nuances and pace of on-demand charter. We offer a generous and predictable 12 on, 20 off schedule.

Requirements:

• Meet all FAA and safety requirements.
• Hold a valid ATP and First Class Medical certification\
• Meet the requirements listed within FAR 119.69(a) and 119.71(d).
• Pass drug & alcohol test.
• Chief Pilot experience.
• Prefer someone with on-demand charter experience.
• Must have Part 135 experience and knowledge.
• Ability to move at a quick, accurate pace.
• Comfortable flexing and adjusting to exceed the needs and expectations of high-demand clients.

Benefits:

Our Chief Pilot must be based within the Phoenix metropolitan area. For those needing to relocate, we will include up to $5,000 in moving expenses. Our Chief Pilot will be expected to fill rotation gaps as necessary. We offer a predictable 12 on, 20 off schedule. The salary range is $245,00 to $280,00, DOE, and includes an industry leading medical benefits package covering 100% of the premium (including vision and dental).
