Chief Nurse Anesthetist manages and schedules Nurse Anesthetists who plan, arrange and secure necessary anesthesia equipment. Aids Anesthesiologist in organizing courses of instruction for students, and partakes in resulting programs and demonstrations. Being a Chief Nurse Anesthetist prepares reports and compiles data dealing with specific anesthesia, drugs and techniques, and patients' reactions to them. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Chief Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Chief Nurse Anesthetist typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Immediate credentialing is available, and we have multiple facilities to be staffed by early 2024. Experience in a fast paced environment is needed and valued.
Job Details:
- Position: W2 CRNA
- Time: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 3:30 pm
- Salary:$260,000 annually, $125/hr
- Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- Overtime pay if 8 hours exceeded each day at $175/hr
Qualifications:
- Current CRNA certification and state licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Dedication to providing exceptional patient care.
