Chief Nurse Anesthetist manages and schedules Nurse Anesthetists who plan, arrange and secure necessary anesthesia equipment. Aids Anesthesiologist in organizing courses of instruction for students, and partakes in resulting programs and demonstrations. Being a Chief Nurse Anesthetist prepares reports and compiles data dealing with specific anesthesia, drugs and techniques, and patients' reactions to them. Requires a master's degree. Additionally, Chief Nurse Anesthetist requires Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Chief Nurse Anesthetist typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Amarillo. Joining a tight-knit team of four in Anesthesia, this role promises a
fulfilling work-life balance with no call, no nights, and no weekends required.
In this role, you'll enjoy an average monthly case volume that includes 50 OR cases, 20 GI procedures, and 20 OB cases. This diverse caseload provides an excellent opportunity to apply and expand your skills in a supportive environment.
Compensation: $380,000 on a 1099 for 52 weeks of coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity for a great work life balance with lots of early days.
