Being a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist supervises nuclear medicine technologists, and may perform the functions of a technologist as needed. Ensures proper usage, maintenance and updates of medical equipment. Additionally, Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist requires a bachelor's degree. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join the division as a pulmonary function testing (PFT) technician.
This individual’s primary responsibilities would be performing diagnostic pulmonary function tests (PFTs), preparing test reports for analysis and interpretation, and setting-up, calibrating and maintaining PFT equipment. Additional responsibilities may include:
This individual will be interacting directly with patients, some of whom are physically challenged. Patience and good people skills are critical. Prior experience performing PFTs is not required but will be viewed favorably.
