The Chief Medical Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. The Regional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a hands-on, visible leader within their respective market(s) and is responsible for all over strategic leadership, planning, development, direction, coordination and control of activity within patient care, clinical and clinical support service areas. The Regional CMO works collaboratively with leaders and staff to ensure that high quality, patient-centered care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.
While providing executive leadership, the Regional CMO demonstrates in-depth knowledge and expertise for, hospital operations and compliance with regulatory bodies, clinical documentation, and end-to-end revenue cycle management.
