Chief Medical Officer directs the staff and develops policies for the organization's clinical programs. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Being a Chief Medical Officer oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations and standards. Evaluates developments and innovations in medical care and makes recommendations for new practices and procedures. Additionally, Chief Medical Officer advises CEO and medical teams on matters impacting patient care. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice Medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Chief Medical Officer manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. We are actively seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our esteemed executive team, contributing to the ongoing success of our organization while propelling your career forward in the dynamic healthcare industry.

     

    In this role, you will lead the financial administration of our facility, overseeing general accounting, data processing, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring robust internal controls and management of accounting systems for accurate and timely financial reports. Your strategic influence will shape the financial landscape of our facility, making critical decisions that contribute to the overall success of Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital!

     

    • Manage financial and accounting operations in accordance with policies.
    • Oversee and adapt information systems to changing needs.
    • Conduct timely reviews of financial statements and perform analysis.
    • Reconcile and oversee bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Collaborate with the CEO on financial affairs, policies, and facility goals.
    • Produce monthly general ledger and financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with DOL, IRS, GAAP, as well as, all other federal and state financial reporting regulations
    • Efficiently prepare materials for internal/external audits, collaborating seamlessly with other stakeholders .
    • Prepare and monitor the adherence of the annual budget, making recommendations for reducing costs, increasing income, and improving workflow.
    • Maintain fixed asset depreciation and record any related changes.

     

    Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

     

    • Education & Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
    • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years as a CFO in a healthcare setting, with experience in managing multiple functions in a healthcare business office. Controllers seeking career advancement will be considered. 
    • Additional Skill Requirements: Proficiency in Excel is required.

    Compensation:
