• Make an Impact! The Medical Librarian catalogs and classifies all monographs, serials, and audio-visual materials using NLM classification. This position is responsible for collection development in assigned subject areas. The Librarian assists staff and students in preparing bibliographies, abstracts, or reviews and acts as a consultant in the location of study or reference materials. The role consults with staff and other library users on information retrieval and management and online searching.  Performs other job-related duties as assigned by site supervisor & Director, library services.

Position: Medical Librarian- As Needed- 12 hours/week guaranteed
Shift: Day Shift- this position will travel to LMC, BMH and PMH

Experience:
2-3 years Library experience preferred. Experience in Medical Library desired but not required

Education:

BS in library science required. MS in Library Science or Information Science preferred
