Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for services. Being a Chief MRI Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of MRI Technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief MRI Technologist may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Requires a registration as a technologist by the A.R.R.T. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief MRI Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. We are currently looking for an experienced MRI technologist to play an active role and join our Diagnostic Imaging Centers team. Under the direction of the Radiologist, performs technical portion MRI imaging procedures according to the standard protocol(s) outlined for each diagnostic procedure.
Responsibilities:
High School diploma or equivalent
Junior College/Technical School
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography, MRI.
Basic CPR Certification
MRI Experience required
2 Years MRI Experience, preferred
Kansas License preferred
CT Experience preferred
