Compensation and Benefits:
The Full Salary Range for this position is $94,305.00 - $168,757.0 Annually. The Hiring Range is $94,305.00 - $124,086 Annually depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefits package. The City of Greensboro seeks a dedicated Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead our cybersecurity efforts, ensuring the protection of IT infrastructure, data, and assets from cyber threats while maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This crucial role involves developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, overseeing cybersecurity operations and initiatives, and guiding and nurturing the cybersecurity team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the cybersecurity team, promoting security awareness and performance.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
• Create and enforce cybersecurity policies ensuring organizational compliance.
• Manage incident response and oversee the cybersecurity operations center.
• Assess and integrate security technologies, manage vendor relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
