Ensures flights are operated in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations. Being a Chief Helicopter Pilot schedules flight personnel, maintenance and maintains flight records. Assumes flight duty. Additionally, Chief Helicopter Pilot has all required licenses and meets flying time requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Pilot license for helicopters - CPL(H). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Role:
We’re hiring pilots to support our partnership with Dash Air Shuttle! Dash Air Shuttle is a newly established intrastate airline based in Washington State. As other regional carriers reduce or eliminate flights in favor of larger aircraft and larger markets, Dash plans to reestablish air service to smaller communities around the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Dash plans to initially fly to communities that are under 200 miles from Seattle and difficult to reach by car or other means because of geography or traffic. These underserved communities will be linked with Seattle/Tacoma International Airport.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Reviewing and calculating the aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board and performance charts.
· Communicate aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and correction.
