Chief Helicopter Pilot partners with general aviation management to establish and implement operating policies and procedures for helicopter pilots. Ensures flights are operated in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations. Being a Chief Helicopter Pilot schedules flight personnel, maintenance and maintains flight records. Assumes flight duty. Additionally, Chief Helicopter Pilot has all required licenses and meets flying time requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Pilot license for helicopters - CPL(H). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Chief Helicopter Pilot manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. JBI Helicopter Services in Pembroke, New Hampshire, a Bell Customer Service Facility, has an immediate opening for an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. This is a full-time year-round position. Additional duties will include working as ground support staff on a multitude of company operations and occasional jobs that may require the candidate to be away from home.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, organized, safety conscious team player with a willingness to learn new things, and the ability to adapt on short notice in order to meet the needs of our valued customers.
A&P license
High School Diploma/GED
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to document maintenance performed on required forms
3 years minimum helicopter maintenance experience
Flight line experience to include track and balance experience
Insures aircraft are cleaned and flight ready, as required
Commercial experience preferred but will consider a combination of military and commercial experience
Able to lift 70lbs, work on knees, bend, crouch, and reach overhead repeatedly
Must have own tools
Must be willing to relocate to with in 1hr commute of Pembroke NH
