Chief Helicopter Pilot partners with general aviation management to establish and implement operating policies and procedures for helicopter pilots. Ensures flights are operated in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations. Being a Chief Helicopter Pilot schedules flight personnel, maintenance and maintains flight records. Assumes flight duty. Additionally, Chief Helicopter Pilot has all required licenses and meets flying time requirements. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Pilot license for helicopters - CPL(H). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Chief Helicopter Pilot manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Helicopter Pilot typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     We are hiring for a A&PField Mechanic - Rotor Wing to support the daily maintenance of the helicopters across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Field Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
    • Provide on-site maintenance support for our fleet of AS350 and/or EC130 series helicopters
    • Maintain the aircraft
    • Schedule aircraft maintenance
    • Manage base inventory
    • Maintain the base library and company owned ground support equipment
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education, Certifications and Licensing
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
    • Inspection Authorization Certification preferred
    • Additional FAA/FCC ratings preferred
    • Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with
    • A minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during that last 24 months
    • Must be able to push and/or pull 100 lbs.
    • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory system
    • IFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferred
    • Manufacturer training or equivalent on AS350, EC130, or both, preferred
    • AS350 and/or EC130 maintenance experience preferred
    • Prior civilian HEMS experience preferred
    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Travel between bases to support maintenance needs is required
