Chief Diagnostic Imaging Operations Technologist directs the Diagnostic Imaging Department's operations including nuclear medicine, MRI, radiology, computer-assisted tomography and ultrasound. Supervises new testing procedures and related protocol. Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team.
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events as required.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a dental or medical office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Familiarity with medical office systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
