What you are good at:
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada (BGCSNV) is seeking a Chief Development Officer (CDO) to be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive fundraising effort including, but not limited to, the acquisition of individual, foundation, and corporate support. Reseach, cultivate, and secure external funding to underwrite identified priorities. Solicit, cultivate, and steward donors and actively seek new funding opportunities while developing strategies for maintaining existing support to build a broad base of donors to support the organization.
The CDO will also develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy including promotional events, media relations, government affairs, etc. to raise awareness of the BGCSNV brand, mission, and support growth in attendance at the clubhouses. The CDO will also lead a clear and concise crisis communicatoin strategy and work with board members and staff to educate and inform about how to leverage media partners to further the BGCSNV mission. Compensation: This position pays starting from $110,000 annually but may qualify for a higher starting rate depending on your skills and experience.
Full-time benefits after the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, 401(k), Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off and Employee Assistance Program.
