Qualifications:
- Education Required: Open
- Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience Required: 5 years of successful fundraising and development experience, including planned giving, prior personal solicitation experience, demonstrate ability to raise substantial funds from individuals, businesses, and other potential contributors, excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including ability to think critically and explain alternatives clearly.
- Experience Preferred: Experience with grant writing/monitoring, Experience developing and implementing successful planned and major gifts programs preferred, Supervisory and management experience,

Position Specifics
- Typically reflecting a 32-hour work week.
- Position Hours: Typically, M-F 8am-5pm with flexibility to meet with donor and attend events.

Position Details
The Chief Development Officer leads, manages and evaluates Family Resources’ development and donor stewardship programs. As a member of the Operations Team, they are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive development initiatives focused on significantly increasing organizational assets serving the mission of Family Resources. This position models an exemplary level of services for both prospective and current donors. This position will need to have a flexible schedule that may include working some nights, weekends, and holidays.
