Chief CAT Scan Technologist oversees computer-assisted tomography and the maintenance of department supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure the quality of services. Introduces and teaches new techniques to staff. Being a Chief CAT Scan Technologist maintains environmental, infection control, and safety procedures for the department. Typically requires an associate's degree. Additionally, Chief CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a director. The Chief CAT Scan Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief CAT Scan Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has immediate opportunities for skilled Automotive or Diesel Technicians for our RIG360 Truck Center. Technicians provide diesel engine and full truck service for a wide range of on-highway trucks, including company fleets, owner centers, universities, etc.

    Join our service experts and be part of a team using the latest electronic tooling for diagnostics and repairs for truck service.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests on diesel engines and truck systems
    • Inspect vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering & exhausts
    • After fully diagnosing issues, prepare work plans and consult customers
    • Repair or replace vehicle engines, transmissions, braking systems
    • Test drive repaired vehicles to gauge performance
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicle is operating safely & efficiently
    • Maintain records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience servicing medium- and heavy-duty trucks
      • Preference given to Cat, Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR trained technicians
    • Accreditation to perform Federal DOT and PA State inspections or able to obtain.
    • Reliable and consistent attendance record
    • In-depth knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms
    • Superior knowledge of maintenance tools and repair equipment, including mechanical and electric power tools
    • Proficient in diesel engine diagnostic software
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Effective written and verbal communications skills

    As a Truck Technician you are required to work in an industrial environment which includes
    exposure to significant environmental conditions. Physical requirements include:
    - Overall stamina
    - Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing
    - Carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, and crouching, listening, and speaking
    - Must have good motor coordination skills
    - Coordination of eyes, hands, and feet
    - Verbal intelligence, and numerical intelligence
    - The workplace environmental conditions include subject to noise, heat, cold
    - Injury exposures, and atmospheric exposures
    - Must be able to lift 50 pounds

    Additional requirements:

    • Sign documentation to meet DOT regulations and company requirements
    • Pass driver's physical and applicable tests associated with driving a service truck
    • Familiar with all DOT regulations and truck operations
    • Meet DOT regulatory & company requirements for operating company vehicles
    • Occasional overtime
