    Job Summary

    This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social impact. Reporting to the Chief Branch & Administrative Officer, the Senior Program Executive manages the overall operations of Association wide programming, Healthy Living, Equity & Integration, Youth Sports, Health Insurance Initiatives, and Aquatics. In collaboration with Program Champions, the Senior Program Executive of Association Programming will design, develop, and implement a full range of evidence and outcome based whole-person programming, services, partnerships, and community outreach to achieve strategic goals. Programs and services are designed for quality to engage members in their health journey to improve outcomes and provide outstanding experience. The Senior Program Executive manages a team of professionals and will be responsible for building results-based evaluations, and health outcomes.

    Hiring Range: $88,722 - $110,902/annually 

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Operationalize the Association’s Programs in all branches and Community.
    • Develop and implement whole person programming to achieve the Association Strategic Plan.
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with public health, physician community and other referral networks to enhance awareness of programs and increase referrals.
    • Serve as key collaborator with local health care systems, providers, and payors to create a continuum of care models, improve health outcomes and build sustainability for health services.
    • Deliver high-value experience for members and program participants to exceed satisfaction results by offering high quality and innovative programming.
    • Work in collaboration with various Association and Branch teams to exceed membership targets.
    • Create and manage high quality and innovative programming.
    • Identify new funding opportunities for programs and services.
    • Ensure conversion of community program participants to members.
    • Drive retention by engaging members in high quality programs.
    • Establish and cultivate a team culture of service and growth.
    • Work in tandem with marketing & membership teams to coordinate all aspects of work.
    • Track and report key metrics and health outcomes.
    • Manage department budget to achieve and exceed financial goals.

    This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

    Travel

    The position will be based at headquarters in Seattle, WA.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience using innovation and creativity to achieve business goals, particularly related to solving complex business problems and achieving cost savings.
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; health promotion, public health, lifestyle medicine, exercise physiology, nutrition or related field of study preferred. Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management and/or public health.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with staff management and supervision, fiscal management, program growth and retention, sales principles, and community relationship building
    • Ability to be highly collaborative with executives and other leaders to achieve organizational goals.
    • Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles in organizations
    • Commitment to shared accountability, teamwork, and creative leadership
    • Proven ability to effectively and appropriately delegate responsibility, motivate, direct, develop, and formally evaluate the work of others.
    • Experience conducting complex analytical studies, evaluating alternatives, and developing & implementing sound recommendations.
    • Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community, track record of building authentic, constructive relationships with other.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
    • Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
