Chief Association Executive plans and directs all policies, objectives, and initiatives for an association, foundation, coalition, or other similar organization. Works with the Board of Directors to ensure all activities support the focus of the organization, including the development, promotion, and operations of the organization. Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. The Association Services Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting staff in maintaining relationships with association clients and will actively monitor client needs in order to evaluate existing or proposed solutions to address those needs.
Duties and responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities for the includes, but not limited to, the following:
· Records and distributes minutes or other records for meetings as assigned.
· Assist in various stages of event and/or program planning.
· Assist in billing and recording payments in various databases as directed.
· Assist other employees to track transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy.
· Maintain knowledge on how to utilize the various electronic platforms including social media to support marketing initiatives.
· Act as a team member dedicated to achieving organizational goals and objectives for exceeding customer expectations.
Other responsibilities include providing support to assist in the administration of the corporation. Duties may include a wide range of tasks including: providing gatekeeping duties for incoming inquiries; processing daily incoming mail and packages; scanning documents/checks; entering PAC entries in database; capturing digital images of events and programs; updating website; schedule and organize activities such as meetings, travel; prepare class and meeting rooms; and, maintaining other specific areas assigned from time-to-time by the President & CEO.
